Melissa Traugh

Melissa has worked for the Central Valley Business Federation since 2018 and is currently the Operations Director. She manages the day-to-day operations and helps support the organization’s advocacy work. 

Prior to coming to BizFed, Melissa worked for the Wonderful Company and helped administer their Agriculture Career Prep Academy across 14 schools and 3 community colleges. The program aligns high schools, community colleges and industry to prepare students for high tech jobs across the agriculture industry. 

Melissa also worked for San Joaquin Valley College as the Dean of Students where she served as the director of student experiences for a diverse population of 1000 non-traditional adult learners. Before becoming Dean, Melissa was a general education instructor teacher sociology and computer courses. 

Melissa has a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master of Public Administration from Arkansas State University. 

She lives in Clovis with her husband and two sons.
