BizFed Central Valley has learned that SB 100 (DeLeon) “100-percent renewable power by 2045,” is VERY CLOSE to passing.
Legislators need to hear from BizFed CV members to OPPOSE SB 100. And they must hear QUICKLY as the legislative session is rapidly coming to a close.

SB 100 is unnecessary. And it arbitrarily prohibits the use of viable renewable energy resources. California already has an aggressive push for utilities to get power from more renewable resources and that process is well under way. SB 100 would prohibit the use highly effective renewable energy sources including large hydropower projects, biomass, biogas and renewable natural gas.
