ACTION ALERT: STOP Sacramento’s sneak attack on oil!

Sacramento’s latest attack on oil MUST BE STOPPED! OPPOSE AB345!

Join BizFed Central Valley and coalition members as they stand up against the latest attack on the oil and gas industry on Monday, April 22nd in Sacramento.

AB345 would increase setback distance between production facilities and private and public property uses to 2,500 feet for every existing or planned well in the state.  If passed, this bill would effectively end oil production in many parts of the state and threaten the future production in ALL PARTS OF THE STATE. For example:

  • 87% of all wells in City of Los Angeles would be shut in
  • 66% of the wells in Los Angeles County would be shut in
  • And thousands of wells in Kern County will be shut in!

How can you help?

Attend the Natural Resources Committee hearing on April 22nd at the State Capitol in Sacramento.

The hearing is scheduled to start at 2:30pm. WSPA is arranging transportation from the valley to Sacramento for this event. For travel logistics and for more information, see WSPA’s call to action or contact aleon@wspa.org
